Yes! Any team member with the right permissions and a compatible device can use Tap to Pay. For Android devices, permissions include owners, admins, receptionists, or stylists. Read more about team permissions in Connect here.
Yes! You can split payments between Tap to Pay and other payment methods, such as cash or card. For example, you can charge £20 via Tap to Pay and £30 via cash or card.
Customers can pay using contactless debit or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), or digital wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Android-specific: Customers can also use contactless cards like Maestro, girocard, Eftpos, Interac, China Union Pay, and JCB.

No extra, recurring, or hidden fees! The standard transaction fee (0.99% + 20p – excl. VAT) applies to all payments processed via Tap to Pay.
Refunds cannot be issued via Tap to Pay. If you need to issue a refund, you can use other methods like vouchers or cash.

Yes! You can accept PIN payments, but there’s a difference between Tap to Pay and PIN payments:
- Tap to Pay: When your customer taps their contactless card or digital wallet (like Apple Pay or Google Pay), no PIN is needed for most transactions, as long as they’re under the payment limit.
- PIN Payments: If the transaction exceeds the limit, or the card requires a PIN, your customer will need to enter it.
- Android-specific: PINs work if the card supports online PIN. If it only supports offline PIN, the transaction may be declined.
iOS: iOS devices can send digital receipts to clients whose email address has been saved in Connect.
Android: Android devices currently cannot send receipts via email from the app. However, you can download the PDF receipt generated by the app and manually email it to the customer using your preferred email app.
