Cheap and cheerful - not what I’d describe as a spa. They were running behind, so there was a wait before I was seen, but the treatment itself was fine.
Little difficult to find the salon, it is not next to a pub as per the description. Welcoming staff at the salon and as I was early they kindly gave me a coffee and a cookie. Massage was good but could have been better comparing to other experiences and places. No initial assessment. I wasn’t asked about allergies, skin type, problem areas etc which I would expect for an hour massage. I had a lot of upper back tension which I did not feel was addressed with the expected deep tissue techniques.
Terri at the front desk was really friendly. I feel like my massage therapist was having a bad day or was overworked. She didn’t introduce herself or communicate the whole time. No towel was there for me on the bed to cover my body I had to get it from the shelf. During the massage I kept saying ow ow ow, I have a lot of knots. No answer. During the facial she just left for 15 mins without telling me or letting me know. It’s ok if you’re busy but plz communicate. Also the floor was very dirty :/
