I arrived at the salon and it seems quite manic! Baby crying, oyung girls playing with the nail equipment and various other staff busy working. Was told to sit and wait, this is when i noticed that a lot of hair was on the floor, and it was very dusty. The lady said she didn't have my booking, but would fit me in. I thought this was strange seeing as i'd had quite a few emails and texts from treatwell to remind me.
The lady did my nails but not well at all, infact I had the gel manicure on a Thursday evening and by the Sunday both thumbs have chipped off half way and i was having to file my nails to try and save them.
She didnt file them after the gel had cured, which meant i left with jagged nails! I was really disappointed to be honest, and annoyed at myself for trusting a website rather than word of mouth recommendation.
I found it funny that she was asking me to review her, when her work just wasn't up to scratch, i wish i'd had the confidence to say i wasn't happy but i was more concerned with receiving a parking ticket, and parking isn't great.
Turns out she was looking at the wrong day on her phone, and did have my booking just hadn't seen it - so don't know what happened there.

Upon arrival I was given an ear full by one of the staff, saying that clients shouldn't be booking on the day as they are most likely busy and won't be able to do my booked appointment. After explaining that it's paid and if this is how they are feeling they shouldn't have the option to have same day appointments, I then waited up to an hour after my booked appointment time as he continued with what he was doing and didn't bother letting her know someone was waiting. Once the lady was free she greeted me and we had a good chat whilst she did my treatment along with another staff member so the rest of the booking went great and I will definitely be returning as the overall quality, ambience and staff (excl the male staff member I was greeted with) were great and I would highly recommend.

Really nice venue, friendly family vibe. Hub of the community. But very glamorous with it. Extremely popular. Great treatments tailored to you. Big range of colours.

Best treatment here at 7th star - they salvaged my hair after I ruined it at another local salon and gave me the best advice- going back to have my hair and makeup done by them and possibly lashes - thank you for helping me sort my hair won’t try anywhere else now would definitely recommend- if you want quality you have to pay the price so be prepared that it may end up costing more if you want more done but In my opinion it’s worth paying the price for professional treatments

Had a great day in 7th Star - Soli was amazing, so patient and kind. No embarrassment with the waxing and everything was done to a great standard.
Thankyou so much for fixing my hair and advising the best options for me. Will definitely be booking for hair dye and laser soon!
Ive always walked out of salons feeling rubbish so thanks for making me look and feel great!! :)
