Worst experience I've ever had in a beauty salon. Firstly they were half an hour late for my appointment (after calling me to change the time when I originally booked). They didn't even do the spray tan in a separate room.. the tent was plonked at the end of the corridor! And they created a 'room' by opening the doors of the rooms around the tent outwards into the corridor. There was no privacy and several times other staff members walked past and saw me naked. Not only that, behind the tan tent was the back door opening onto a yard, with a tall building just behind that. Anyone looking out the windows of that building would have been able to see me. The girl who did my spray tan was nice enough, but was actually a hair dresser and clearly not trained enough for a spray tan. My face was ok to my relief, but there were streaks and patchiness on my arms and bottom of my legs. The general colour was orange (it was a Sienna brand). Unfortunately I was at a wedding the following day with arms and bottom of legs exposed, I ended up feeling very self conscious.
To sum up, there was absolutely no professionalism here and I would not recommend going.
Spray Tanning and Sunless Tanning
I booked a last minute full head highlights appointments at Abi's and to be frank there were issued before I even walked in the door. I was called twice asking me to move to an earlier appointment, despite the fact I had explained I was at work and the time I had booked was the earliest I could get there. I would have changed to another day if they has said there was not enough time but this was not something they asked.
When I arrived the salon was clean and well presented and the staff friendly however my treatment was extremely poor. My full head highlights took 2.5 hours just to put in my hair, they were IMMEDIATELY washed out, not even left for 5 minutes which has resulted in my leaving the salon with badly blended highlights and roots as bad as when I walked in. I was really disappointed, because as I've said the Salon is very clean, tidy and looks to be a much higher quality than the service that I received.
Hopefully my treatment was a one off and no one else comes out feeling as I did.

I had my pedicure with a Anica, (I think). I am very pleased with the pedicure and the quality of service. The beautician is very friendly and overall it was a wonderful experience!
