I booked a 45 minute massage. Get to the venue, say I'm booking in for a 45 minute massage and the lady on reception took some details.
Go in for the massage - and it finishes. It did seem quick - when I'd got dressed and looked at my phone and from the time I went in to the time I got dressed and left the room, it was 25 minutes total. So the massage itself could only have been 20 minutes in total.
When I went out, I questioned why it was so short. They blamed Treatwell for the way the booking came through. I found that odd for 2 reasons - 1st, I had said 45 minutes when I checked in and nothing was said. 2nd, the venue don't even offer a 30 minute massage.
I was offered money off my next visit, but didn't find that acceptable. I asked for the money off then, which the eventually did do. It felt very awkward and embarrassing and I don't think I should have been put in that position.
So I would say beware if you do book with Treatwell and make sure you are getting what you booked. It was a shame, as the massage was actually very good, and the heated bed, use of fluffy blankets instead of towels and a large glass of water with lemon in after were lovely touches. It was just so much shorter than I had expected and booked for.
