Elham was lovely and it was an authentic experience. Ruined by being handed dirty hairbrushes nor was there anyone to dry hair which was what I was told downstairs. I went upstairs and was told to do this myself. Colleague sat out in the open scrolling her phone. Shocked a place like this would have disposable combs , it was full of product and previous customers hair and handed to me to use myself, unacceptable, left a bad taste
Both the women doing my treatment were lovely and the space is nicely done - but no part of the hammam was explained to me nor was I asked if I had ever had one before. So perhaps not the best place to go if this is your first time. The massage was good and the therapist was very professional but - concerningly - half way through another staff member opened the door and came in to get a spare towel. This is obviously appalling spa etiquette when you have clients undressed.
It was amazing! I felt so pampered I wanted to cry of happiness. Thank you Samar for being so wonderful - I’m so relaxed and my hair looks wonderful :)
