The staffs, cleanliness and ambience was pretty good. But the microdermabrasion ( as knowing to treat aging problem ) it didn't seem on corrected way. The staff cleaned my face as normal facial but feel like nothing that I can feel like tightening my face area. I didn't asked ( probably the staff forget as well ) so I personally didn't satisfied with the treatment it self. But either than that was good.
The venue is pleasant enough. The girl I booked in with knew nothing about my booking and was quite abrupt and she made me feel very uncomfortable. The owner came out and said that they had been having lots of problems with Wahanda/Treatwell and that they had not received the booking, he was more helpful and said because they weren't busy I could still have my treatment. The girl that did my treatment was pleasant and the waxing was quite good.
Not impressed with Wahanda/Treatwell as I had gone to Lakeside specifically for the treatment and would not have been impressed at all if they could not fit me in.
I've been coming to Adorn for a while now, and the standard varies a lot between therapists. This time I think I had the best waxer in the country! It was super quick and accurate. Friday afternoons may be the best slot.
The salon as a whole, isn't the best if I am honest. I've seen several technical issues, and have at times been unimpressed by cleanliness. The paper 'please clean yourself' signs in the treatment rooms are quite unprofessional, even vulgar. But I suspect this is a managerial issue, as the staff are lovely. And they always have appointments at short notice.
I've had some very mixed experiences with this place but the quality is generally good. On my last visit the waxing I had was pretty thorough, with few patches. The member of staff I met with was friendly and efficient.
However, the handwritten signs to 'clean yourself' before waxing are awful, and make me question both the professionalism of the staff in general and their typical clientele.
