I wouldn’t go back here. The beautician was doing her filler when I walked in and was dabbing her face during my Hollywood Wax. As for the wax, it was the most bizarre process I had experienced and this made it very slow and painful. When I came to pay it was not worth the money at all seeing as it was a High end price of Waxing.

I have had many Hollywood waxes and this was by far the worst and most painful. The staff member giving the wax did not leave the room to give me privacy to change and I had to ask for a towel or paper to cover myself. There was also no lock on the door and towards the end someone actually tried to open it.
The wax itself also made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I was asked to lie on the table legs bent with the woman sat at the lower end so she was staring up at my vagina and I was in full view which I felt totally unnecessary. I do understand that nakedness and seeing genitalia is part of the wax, but this felt over the top.
The wax she used didn't seem appropriate for the type of wax I was having...it seemed that it was for leg hair and thus stuck to skin and was extremely painful to pull out. The woman was not bothered by the pain I was in and would just keep pulling or pouring talcum powder on. After the wax I checked the wax and found in places that she had actually pulled skin off and I was raw in places... To add insult to injury not even all the hair was removed in places!
The woman also said there would be an extra charge to do my bum as well which I agreed to and am aware that other salons do this. However, she charged an extra £12 which was obscene given how it took 2 mins and again was not done properly! The whole experience cost £52 which was a rip off for what it was.
The room was also v hot which did not help, although bizarrely the woman out on fan for AC, except it had no AC and just blew hot air around the room...the woman failed to notice for several minutes and also tried to use it to cool and dry the wax by holding it over my vagina!
I felt really exposed and uncomfortable during the whole experience that I just paid the price at the end and left so I could deal with the ’situation’. I recommend to anyone thinking of going there to just avoid at all costs as it was that bad.

I visited Aesthetics Beauty for a Brazilian wax. Before starting, the beautician asked about the type of wax I'd like and checked regarding any allergies which was good.
The beautician then sat at the bottom of the bed on a stool, which did make it feel a bit like I was there for a gynecological visit which was a bit uncomfortable.
The application of the hot wax with a wooden spoon was... unusual. What was more unusual though was when she sat blowing my 'area' to cool the wax. I felt very uncomfortable at this point so I just stared at the ceiling praying it would be over quickly.
After a while the beautician wanted to check if I wanted more removed from a particular area. I looked down and she had removed ALL hair from the front, despite me booking a Brazilian. When I questioned this and clarified I'd booked a Brazilian she responded 'yes?' and didn't seem to see a problem. What I was left with was all hair removed with the exception of a thin line of hair around the edges underneath which is unlike any Brazilian wax I've ever had before.
I left pretty quickly as I was in shock at what I had just experienced. Needless to say, I won't be going back.
