Lovely salon and staff. Was there at the end of the day and didn't feel rushed even though I'm sure they were keen to get out. Stylist took time over my hair and making sure it was exactly what I wanted. Was impressed overall and would definitely recommend.
I went for the first time to Aglaea for blow-dry using my wahanda gift voucher of five pounds against the cost. I had a good experience the salon is friendly. It is a smallish salon. My only criticism is the hair wash sinks are very uncomfortable I was unable to stay with my neck rested on the hard sink so the stylist put a rolled towel behind my neck which was better. I have been to many salons and the comfort in this area varies widely. The stylist did a good blow-dry. She started the blow dry at the top sections of my hair (normally the hair is blowdried from below presumably as the section then doesn't rest on wet hair below) so I was doubtful but anyway the end result was fine and finish was good. Communication is great. I would go back and possibly for colour too.
Very disappointed with Shellac manicure. Beautician was friendly but seemed to be very inexperienced. The manicure was not great still have hang nails and the shellac was applied so thickly it started peeling off two days after I had it done which is not ideal after you have a '2 week manicure'!
