This week with Dr. Bo, we focused on restoring qi and blood flow on the right side of my leg. What really surprised me was realizing how much that stagnation had been affecting other things too including my hair. Even though I have a full head of hair, I started noticing some hair loss, and she helped me connect the dots. Now we’re taking steps to support full circulation and bring everything back into balance. My GP could never have these skills.

I see Dr. Bo every week, and this week felt like we hit the last mile of a long healing process. What’s amazing about her approach is that she really sees herself as a guide, not a fixer. In her words, you’re the doctor. She helps you remember how to heal yourself.
Dr. Bo practices Taoist medicine, which is very different from traditional acupuncture. It’s not just about needles or treatments. It’s about helping your whole system come back into balance and giving you the tools.

This week, I reached new heights. I used to wake up with numbness in both my hands and fingers. Now that those issues are gone, we’ve started focusing more on medicine and power. For those who understand Native North American culture, this experience goes beyond the treatment itself. It’s in the food, the voice, the wind, and the chi.
After the last treatment, I noticed a major reduction in pain in my right leg. My osteopath was never able to understand the root cause, but Dr. Bo does.
