Staff not overly chatty which suits me well..some slightly bored looking i felt.
Coffee/tea offered throughout appointment.
Talked through the process of cut and colour.
Lots of compliments on my hair and requests for number of salon so you can make your own mind up from that :-)
Definitely need to change the information on the site as i was charged an extra 15.00 for long hair...my hair was above shoulder length..the front ends of bob just touching my shoulder when wet. I was expecting this but still queried it and was told that short hair was more near the ears...not what is stated so needs to be addressed. This happens in every hairdressers that i have ever been too not just here so i do feel that this is lack of transparency in the industry.

The online booking didn't work well in my case. They had to cancel my appointment and asked me to call for a rearrangement. The staff was friendly but did not listen what I wanted. I got charged extra £25 for the long hair I wanted to cut short. I thought they should cut my hair at first and do the highlight - so I should not have been charged for the extra £25 on the top of the original price. Very expensive for me as I am only a student - 2 weeks of my food bills. The hair cut wasn't too good either, looked just like chopped off. However the highlight although wasn't what I originally wanted it looked okay. Overall I think it wasn't the value for what I paid for. By the way the surcharge was hidden. I didn't see it till the appointment was booked. Once you book it you are not allowed to cancel it (funny thing was that they can call you when they needed to cancel it - I don't think that was fair). They also should price their service for medium and long hair separately. So no hidden surprise. Hope you have better luck than me because most of the reviews from others seemed okay. Perhaps I had set my expectations too high as this was my first one done by the professional. All I can say is that my friend had done better for me.

A great blow-dry with Alex, I'll definitely be back. The salon in itself is far from luxurious, so I'll be going back purely for Alex's talent!
