My stylist's name was Floriana. I can honestly say that it is the best haircut that I have had in years! Floriana listened to how I wanted it cut and went about cutting it efficiently and expertly, you can tell she has years of experience and knows what she is doing. Extremely pleased and will definitely be using her again.

Fantastic experience. Colour by Chloe who did an impeccable job. Didn't catch the name of the girl who did my cut and blow dry but she was attentive, friendly and did the best big bouncy blow dry. Have recommended to two friends already!

I have been to the Alan Lawrence salon twice for a Brazilian Blowdry.
The first time I had also had a cut it was appalling - so much so that i had to go back and have it done again because they cut it when wet and then did the Brazilian blow dry straight away. However i did love the results of the blow dry so i went back.
The second visit.....
Alan Lawrence answered the phone to me when I tried to book and was rather sarcastic and rude - despite me telling him i was potentially bringing my friend along for the treatment also.
On the day of my appointment (Sunday) the salon was completely empty - no customers and no reason to rush.
The lady who did my hair was very lovely. However she completely rushed the treatment and failed to fully dry the product into my hair before straitening. Because the product was not fully dried into my hair, when she went over it with the straighteners it sizzled and smoked a great deal more than the first time.
I left again with poker straight hair. After 48 hours I washed my hair - and whilst washing a lot of hair came out in the shower but i didn't worry too much at this stage as we lose hair naturally. I then dried my hair - the treatment results looked fab but the cut was bad again. This time i decided to go to a different hairdresser to fix my hair cut. To my horror she discovered 2 big chunks (approx 2 inches wide, 2 cm thick) that had been singed off that were now only approx 3 inches long. This was where all the hair came from that I noticed in the shower. Because the product had not been dried into my hair properly it had been burned off during the straightening iron process.
I am absolutely appalled with the service at Alan Lawrence. Luckily the singed sections are underneath my parting and not visible but I have lost complete faith in all staff there and a lot of confidence also.
