I have to say that after booking my appointment based on all the positive reviews I really cannot see how they could have so many good comments as I had a truly awful cut and highlights here. To start with the salon is grubby and the towels that are used are all completely bleached stained which I personally don't think is acceptable to be draping filthy looking towels on my shoulders. That’s not the worst part though. I was very clear about what I wanted - I had a photo of caramel highlights and I specifically said I don't want it to be stripy. What I got was black, white and a gingery coloured stripes. Then was my cut which I thought at the time was ok but I was so distracted by the awful colour that I wasn't even paying any attention to the cut. I left the salon and rang my usual hairdressers to fit me in for an appointment that day as I couldn't bear to even have one day with that chavy hair. I managed to get an appointment and forked out £120 for them to fix my highlights. I wish now I had just paid the extra money in the first place rather than going somewhere cheap -I definitely learnt the lesson that you get what you pay for. The stylist who fixed my hair colour also showed me the wonky cut at the back but I said I couldn't afford to have the cut done as well so she did it for free as she said she couldn't let me walk out with wonky hair. I will definitely not be going back. The staff seemed really nice so I don't mean to be harsh but I just wish I'd known the type of salon it was before I booked.

I can honestly say that I have just had the best highlights, cut and blow dry that I have had in a long time! I was a little worried having read certain reviews but am really glad that I decided to still go to my appointment. The lady who did my colours was friendly, knowledgeable and fab at her job, she just did exactly what I had hoped for. Very natural looking and well blended highlights, I think three colours were used in the end. I was really pleased with the result. I then had a trim and fab blow dry from another really friendly member of the team who apologised for keeping me waiting and offered me a free treatment for the inconvenience of which I though was a nice touch. She really listened to what I wanted and again i had exactly what I hoped for. I was in there for around 2.5 hours in total and it was just a really nice atmosphere, very busy even on a Sunday, constant offers of magazines and coffee and just really good customer service all round. Will def be going back there really happy to have found this place :-)

Had a Voucher for Highlights and a cut and blow dry which was very good value. Arrived and was promptly shown to a seat, made to feel welcome but not pushy. Offered drinks several times; said yes to Coffee and it arrived in a little Cafetiere with own jug of milk on a tray. Very nice.
The lady who did the highlights was quick and efficient and I asked for finer strands (less is more). This was done and after 3/4 hour it was washed out and another lady did a cut and blowdry.
Three ladies worked on me; all polite and skilled in their task and there was a low buzz with people coming and going but not rushed at all. I had an am appointment and maybe that helped. Found parking just outside which is free before 4pm I think. All in all very pleased with the result and will come again. Allow up to 2 hours.
