Hollywood Waxing
I had a fantastic experience here, having avoided hairdressers for over two years!
I have hearing aids which I am pretty much totally deaf without, which is not much fun as obviously you have to remove them for a haircut. I explained this to Jamie on arrival and he was so lovely and accommodating, he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and handled the situation brilliantly. I had a full restyle and was so happy with the end result, highly recommend Jamie and the salon.
Ladies' Haircut & Blow Dry
Blowdry was fine and stylist nice but don’t think Allertons at John Lewis matches up to John Lewis standard and Allertons branding, salon seems a little unfinished and untidy in places. For me blowdry wasn’t worth £35 I’ve paid at other city centre salons.
Blow Dry
It is the 2nd time ( consecutive) when I book an app. for a date&time and I am called to be told that the app. should’ve not gone through because they are short staffed on the day. My appointment was moved from 12 to 2:45.I waited 30 mins (3:15) to be seen although the lady in reception prompted the stylist at 3.She was very cold and despite my efforts to make the situation less awkward I couldn’t wait for the app to be over.The treatment was great and I saw results, will book another stylist.
