I had eyebrow threading. It was done super quick and painless. The lady was also accommodating and nice. Would recommend.

It started peeling after 5 days but its minimal peeling. Other than that, i go there often and its a good place
Gel Nails Manicure
Lovely therapist and excellent massage but the surroundings were not brilliant - the place just needs a bit of tlc and some muting of the phone in Reception so as not to disturb the tranquility of treatments. Excellent massage though.
Therapeutic Massage
I made a last minute booking at Alternatives through Wahanda because it was advertised as Highbury and they could fit me in for a late notice Shellac mani at a convenient time. I would say that the salon is closer to Holloway than Highbury but it is easy to find. It's a small space with some nice skincare and haircare brand products for sale but it is a pretty basic space, by no means luxury.
My therapist was very friendly and they had a good range of CND Shellac colours to choose from. The manicure itself was nicely done, she was a little tough on my cuticles but the shaping and application was quite good. The polish was a little thin and could have done with one more coat. Overall I left the salon feeling pleased with the mani, it wasn't the best I'd ever had but for the price I thought it was pretty decent. However, 3-4 days later it was peeling off. I usually get a full 2 weeks with Shellac, sometimes almost 3 weeks! I suspect the peeling was due to the lamp used to cure the polish not being a CND one as it took much longer than normal to cure each layer. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this treatment unless they invest in a new lamp. I would pay more to get a full 2 weeks from the manicure.
