Good haircut for a bargain price of £15. The hairdresser was good and gave his opinion on the style of cut without being pushy. Salon was simple but I thought it was strange that I wasn't given a cape.
I'm travelling on a really tight budget at the moment and needed a cut a lot cheaper than the salon I usually go to in London. I booked Carlos because of the great reviews and because of the price. I'm not too fussy about my hair so just thought it wouldn't really matter if it didn't turn out too great. But oh my goodness, this is possibly the best haircut I've ever had.
Carlos is a small, really relaxed salon which is great for me because I can't stand all that pretentious rubbish you sometimes get. Steven, my stylist, spent longer on my hair than anyone ever has, getting everything just perfect. I have cropped hair so was surprised and happy when he managed to do something slightly new and different with it. He clearly knows exactly what he's doing and loves what he does. He was also great to talk to and I didn't have to put up with any of the mindless chit chat that normally comes along with a haircut.
To sum up - if you want a fancy salon with head massages and chocolate treats, this isn't the place for you. If you want something relaxed with a great quality cut then I can definitely recommend it. I will be going back here whenever I'm in London. So amazing to find such a good stylist at such a great price.
I had very good highlights and spent less than other hairdresser. I didn't have blowdry, I blew dried my hair by myself. The ambience is a bit strange, but the important is a good result.
I had a great experience, I was able to talk to the stylist for as long as I wanted about what kind of hairstyle I was looking for, they then played with my hair in different styles and clipped into place so I could see what it would look like.
