Easy to find and a nice old fashioned, simple but classic hairdressers with a friendly atmosphere and no nonsense approach which meant that there was no fuss just a great cut and shape and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
I had the best experience at Carlos's... Bolykar was lovely and gave me the best service I've had in a salon! The hairwash was great (I can still smell the shampoo), the cut was professional and did exactly as I requested (to get rid of all the splitends but keep the length) & the blow dry was amazing. I gave Bolykar free reign to style my hair as he liked and he came through on his promise to make me "even more beautiful"- it was bouncy, light and gorgeous! So happy and will definitely go to Carlos's again for this treatment. Thank you!
Had great haircut and good chat with Antony - he was really helpful and did great job. I was very happy with the price I paid and would highly recommend
To be honest, I was not expecting my experience to be this bad considering that I preferred to go to this place after reading the comments written here. My hair is too long and I consulted the stylist what to do to shape it a little bit to look volumed and nice. He suggested putting some layers and I said unless they are short and in the back of the hair, he can go for it. Because I simply cannot use short layers because I have a lot of hair and they get frizzy easily. I told him that I liked the idea of putting layers in front, which I have also tried before and was satisfied with it. First of all, until my hair got dried, he kept on playing around with my hair without barely making any changes, and then he started cutting the layers which I realised afterwards that there were sharp and assymetrical layers. Especially the shortest layer he cut, he took a bunch of hair from the front and cut it so thick that he couldnt even syncronise it with the lower layers (which are invisible ofcourse if you have a single thick cut above). I told him my opinion that it was looking odd, and he said after the blow dry it will look ok. Then when he was blow drying my hair, I saw that he was trying to mix the massive wrong cut he did among my other long hair so that it would not be visible in the end. I realised it but didn't say anything further because I didn't want to argue, there was nothing to do at that point so I didn't want to carry it on. When he was done with the blow dry, he gave me the mirror to check the back of my hair, and I wish I didn't look, but the entire edges of the hair looked crap as he couldn't even cut them symetrically. He just needed to cut the edges in a straight line (which I think is the easiest thing for a hairdresser) he couldn't! Now my hair looks like as if I took the scissors and cut my own hair :( I dont know what to do now as I have to attend a wedding and my hair looks so bad!

Great family business! Nice looking salon, I was cut by Carlos' brother, who was lovely and very knowledgeable. He really took the time for me and is a real perfectionist. Great value for money, where can you get a professional £15 wash, cut & blowdry these days? I would highly recommend.
