Good value, but not the prettiest of salons from the outside or inside. There was quite some confusion over my booking as they weren't expecting me when I arrived and kept telling me I was there for shellac (which I wasn't) the team were visibly short staffed which didn't help me to feel relaxed. The pedicure was excellent especially the exfoliation / foot massage although a shame they didn't use razor blades to get rid of dead skin like most other spa pedicures I've been to. The nail colour selection was also quite limited. Saying that tor the price the overall experience was good value so would recommend.
I would highly recommend Amia Hair & Beauty - i had a combo wax and it was so quick and as painless as possible. The staff were so friendly and it was an amazing value for money!
I have had the waxing combo done hear twice and I am very happy with the results. The lady was friendly and the environment was relaxing. They provide a great efficient service at an affordable price. I'll be back here again.
No one was at the desk when I walked in and I was ignored by two members of staff who were with other clients but who saw me. I then was told that my booking hadn't shown up on the system, but it didn't seem to matter. I was then shown into a room which did not seem clean. I was under the impression this was a Lycon hot was, but it was basic strips. I had to stop mid-way through as the waxer was brutally ripping the strips from my sensitive area! I pointed out that I thought it was Lycon, which is far less painful. she said that is more expensive, so I ended up paying an extra £3 to have Lycon, but not before she left me with wax on me to go check on her system. I felt she was then annoyed with me and didn't pay much attention to what she was doing.
When I checked at home there was lots of bits of wax left on me, and patches of hair left. it was also not a proper Brazilian, just a basic bikini wax. Would never go back, I felt really uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave.
