Was not really pleased with my facial. I felt the majority of the 1 hour facial I was left in the room with a mask on. Amia is a training salon and I have to admit, I wonder if the woman who performed the facal was a student or if she was fully licensed. The cleansing and exfoliation was minimal and the massage was very light and also minimal. There was no nice hand massage or anything whilst the mask was left on, which I'm accustomed to and which was performed at many other salons when I've had a facial. They immediately tried to 'up sell' me on Dermatologica products for the facial because 'oh, it's just £10 more', which if I wanted, I would have booked the Dermatologica facial instead of the facial I had chosen. The music was also blaring in the room and I was going to ask that it be turned down but I realised in between songs why it had to be turned up so loud... the facial room is within the hair cut and nail room and you can hear everything loud and clear. You can also hear street noise as the space isn't very big and the door was kept open. I left disappointed and not very relaxed. I've had much better facials elsewhere and felt I wasted my money here.
