I'd been to this salon a few times before and was always very happy with each treatment. As their price list is the same as Wahanda, the staff encouraged me not to use the app but to book with them direct and they would give me a loyalty card. I called up and made an appointment for a bikini wax, price on Wahanda stated £30 and that is what I thought I'd booked. When the treatment has finished, I went to the till and the receptionist demanded £50. If I had booked online through Wahanda then there would have been no confusion however the receptionist demanded I pay £50. She then spoke to the manager over the phone who would not come down on price and as I offered to pay £30 only, the manager then phoned the police. I entered the salon at 1.30 Saturday afternoon and didn't leave until 4.30 when the police arrived to resolve the matter. As this was a civil dispute, no criminal activity had taken place and the police only turned up to keep the peace. Once I stated my case, the policeman was in my favour and advised the manager could take me to the small claims court for the additional £20. The whole situation was extremely distressing and I've never encountered such a stubborn, self righteous salon manager. What a waste of mine and the police's time!
Be careful of this place and make sure you know exactly what it is you're booking so that you don't go through the same traumatic experience!
The treatment was great,I completely relaxed and after that my skin was relaxed and smooth as never before. Highly recommended! I love this beauty centre.
My therapist was called Meera or Mira...not sure of the spelling :(
She was great, put me at ease and I had an almost pain free waxing experience. I will definitely be back.
