The wax may well have been more painful due to my pregnancy but I think technique probably didn't help as she didn't hold my skin taut, or ask me to as I've done at other places! The beautician was lovely but her English wasn't great and so the appointment started off with quite a lot of confusion. Fortunately, we finally got to understanding and got on with the wax. It was very painful at the time but am very happy with the end result so will try again when not pregnant and see whether it was me or technique! I would recommend for ambience as the salon is really lovely inside and very busy with people who clearly went regularly and knew the staff.

I usually go to Cowshed for massages but was so pleasantly surprised by Amiika. Definitely the best massage I've had in ages and will be the only place I go to for massages from now on. Already dreaming of my next one!
The facial was more functional than what I've been used to - but - was really nice too. Lots of facial massage vs multiple masks. Would definitely have the facial massage combo again.
Great therapist adjusted pressure as required. The venue was nice and easy to find. Really enjoyed treatment here and would come again especially when there's an offer on
