Had to wait half an hour because the previous appointment ran over. Ripped my earring out when she was brushing my hair and didn't apologise. Hair cut was going fine until I asked her to straighten out the front as it was a bit longer, she then cut about half a centre higher than the rest and then just left it! Didn't ask for her to fix it again incase it got worse, so I had to go home and try and straighten it out myself. Right and left side are different lengths too. Really disappointed with the cut and the service was poor. She kept getting distracted with her daughter who was messing around in the place. Won't be returning! :(
I thoroughly enjoyed the massage. It was very relaxing. The hot stones felt amazing and I was looked after really well, with my pregnancy being catered for throughout the massage. Thank you!
I'm going to have to get my hair recut the second it grows out. She cut it too short, there was no point complaining because she couldn't do anything about it. I didn't notice at the time because I had my glasses off most of the time. It's not blended well, and it's not even.
Also the place was cold, dirty and shabby. Which isn't a big problem for it as long as my hair is cut right.
I can't even go get it corrected because she took off way more than a trim.
I hate to leave a negative review but feel I need to be honest. Booked for ½ head of highlights plus cut on my mid length hair. Honey seems a nice person but did not take responsibility for the way my hair turned out. The top foils were not left on long enough so my hair didn’t lift and was yellow. The foils underneath (which were done first) were perfectly lifted and bright and my hair was not damaged. Honey said that she couldn’t leave the top ones on any longer or my hair would have been damaged, whilst previously saying that my hair could not possibly be damaged as she was using organic product?! Either way, this is the 2nd time I’ve had bleach in my hair in a year, I don’t heat style it, it’s condition is fine and could have withstood a few more minutes, as the underneath highlights proved. She then changed and said that the yellow colour was due to the “new” hair being highlighted, which made no sense to me. After the toner, which did little to help neutralise the yellow tones, she combed my hair so aggressively it was breaking off in handfuls, which she then blamed on the bleach. She didn’t find my parting before cutting the length of my hair so it was uneven at the front by several inches, which I had to point out. My fringe was cut terribly, very wonky but by that point I had lost all trust in Honey and simply didn’t want it to get any worse so didn’t ask her to correct it. What could have improved this experience would have been if Honey had taken responsibility for not leaving the foils in long enough (it was glaringly obvious that this was the problem) and offered options to correct this. I chose this salon due to the many positive reviews – Honey obviously has many happy customers. Maybe this was just an off day? The salon could do with a deep clean inside. I won’t be going back.
