I booked an express mani pedi for £20 which is a bargain. The choise of colours wasn't but for this price I wasn't bothered. I went on Thursday evening and had a wedding on Saturday. All nails lasted well throughout the weekend and I was really happy with how they looked; especially considering I was only in the salon for 20 minutes. Linda was very sweet and attentive.
Microdermabrasion treatment was really thorough! She constantly checked that i was comfortable and explained everything she was doing and the products she used.
I booked a Deep tissue massage thinking I was going to get a relaxing massage with extra pressure - just like all the other places in London. Wow... I was wrong. This woman likes to inflict pain! It was an hour of the most gruelling torture I have experienced, I was in so much agony.... and I'm probably going back next week. Why? Well, she spent the majority of the time on my neck, upper back and lower back. I had a computer monitor fall on my head in 2006 and I haven't been able to turn my head/neck very well since then. After this session --- I can, with very little crackles than before. Pains that I had started feeling in my wrists are now gone too. I was sore for 2 days after the massage, and very light headed on leaving the salon, but I can see the results. Other spas that offer deep tissue massage need to rename it... or this woman should rename her service to "Torture, but worth it."
