Despite booking, I was still kept waiting as the majority of clients seem to walk in and the salon was busy. Ambience is slightly lacking as it feels more like a production line but then you get what you pay for. Reasonably priced and pedicure was good.

The salon is looking a little tatty but the ladies all work very hard to give you fast efficient service. I've always had to wait for my treatments as it's a bit of a conveyor belt, good value for money with no frills.

It makes me sad to say this visit was the worst I have had at Navara. Usually I walk away feeling very happy and the girls always do a great job. I had a Hollywood Wax and full leg by Fatima. She was very bad at it and seemed to originally be annoyed at something. Her work was very sloppy, she got wax all over the place and she really hurt. No pre treatment was used so she just broke the hairs rather than pull them from the root. Now I am left with an uneven wax and hair growing back that usually takes 3 weeks. During the treatment she accused me of shaving so that's why it hurt so much (I cried out at one point) I have been going here since it opened for a bikini wax so not shaved. She was pulling the wax strips off in all the wrong directions which just made it more painful and then her having to try again because she never got the hair out. Some patches she broke off so short that she then couldnt wax the last bit off. Usually after my appointments I'd have top lip and eyebrows waxed but given she was the only staff member available I decided I'd give that a miss because I thought I'd leave with no brows left and no top lip. Navara are very good usually but wouldn't recommend Fatima for any waxing treatments.

I regret to say it was a very costly & disappointing experience. I was left waiting for my treatment to commence for 30 minutes with no explanation whatsoever offered for the delay & received a parking penalty notice as a result. The treatment was quite uncomfortable overall & the staff virtually uncommunicative throughout. I definitely will not be returning to this salon.
