Just awful, toe nails clipped really roughly, cuticles painfully pushed and skin sharply cut (I complained it hurt 5 times) scissors dropped into foot bath, little toe painfully bent backwards?! Painful salt scrub onto my leg, burnt by the boiling water used to remove wax, nails not shaped properly and finished with a patchy one coat of varnish. Being a full time mum I'm upset to have to pay £32 for what was supposed to be a relaxing treat but was pretty much a horrible experience.
Even though I had an appointment (which was not written down, because they don't write down treatwell appointments) they still dealt with people as they arrived meaning my appointment was 20 minutes late. Everything else was average to quite poor in standard and quality. The staff were initially abrupt/rude to people although the lady that performed my treatment did become friendlier
Previously had £50 facial here, the products were lathered all into my nose and dropped down my neck . There was no neck massage or relaxing music . The robes and blankets are always dirty . They never gave a receipt straight away so you have no evidence of treatment . Basically the staff are treated like sweatshop workers as they are clearly unhappy and overworked . There is no website or address to complain to management. The place is cold and staff say they are refused heaters . The nail dryers are dirty and not cleaned in between clients .
it's tough to try new places for hollywood waxing and I'm glad I tried here, I was a bit worried as there are some negative reviews for nails services but I have to say it wax a perfect hot wax, pain free which is hard to achieve, they use the high quality chocolate wax and are thorough unlike a lot of the high priced places that don't do a proper hollywood or charge extra for parts that we all know should be included. a constructive criticism would be that the venue wait area could use a little upgrade and I would book for 30mins after opening as I booked the first slot and had to wait for the wax to heat but I couldn't fault the wax
