Employee that served me didn't talk to me once even though she was fluent in English made me feel uncomfortable and like as if I was making her work for me.
I booked my pre-holiday treatments with this salon and was very disappointed with the service. First off all, the salon didn't have any of my bookings and was told I should have contacted them to confirm- this was not specified anywhere in my confirmation and I had actually rang them a week before and was told my bookings were confirmed. I had to wait 20 minutes to be seen and had to repeatedly tell them that I had paid online- even though I had shown them the confirmation on my phone (and they had written this down). I had the Shellac nails- which was not the best I have had done and chipped within a day..... No hard skin was removed from the spa pedicure- which I always have done (a foot file was just used). The bikini line wax was the worst I have ever had done- the lady was brutal and I was in so much pain and no soothing cream was applied after (and I have had this done a few times). So overall all, I wish I had spent my £75 + elsewhere and will not be returning.
I was shocked to be ask where I shoul dbe waxed. Also, I had to call the girl again caus eshe didnt wax the same way on each side.
At first I was a little dubious having read some reviews but having gone myself I know it's a case of a few negative experiences don't define a place. Having been attended to by Nikki, I am so undeniably happy with the result. My nails are 100% what I had in mind, she was friendly, not afraid to strike up conversation and happily spoke about products and her experiences with beauty. A professional but personable. I'm very happy and will be back soon!
I had a Shellac manicure here, however the manicure was really messy and when I looked at my nails afterwards the polish was on my cuticles and skin. Really shoddy job, I could have done it far better myself.
