I arrived at the salon in advance of my 1:30 appointment. When I sat down there was no one being the desk and every member of staff was either actively serving a customer or standing around watching someone serve a customer. After 10 minutes someone looked back from blow drying someone’s hair and asked me if I had an appointment. I said yes and she said that someone would be out shortly...Long story short, no one was out shortly. There seemed to be an abundance of people whose only job was to sweep the floor and a shortage of people who could work with hair. I waited for 45+ minutes and only was seen in the end because another customer and I called back to the staff begging to be seen. Jeska was an absolute star and cut my hair even though she had another customer waiting and I hadn’t booked with her (we settled this with the other customer). As I got my hair done I saw others arrive and get stuck in the same purgatory of endless waiting as I. Two women had booked to get their hair done for a wedding but were stuck behind two other customers waiting when they arrived. As far as the organisation goes, it seems no one had bothered to check the treatwell bookings for that day and so the term ‘appointment’ was pretty loose. To be fair, I was also told that they were short one staff member that day but I really speaks to the lack of organisation when the whole system breaks down if one person is missing... I’ve given the experience two stars overall because of this and the length of my wait, although Jeska was great and I’m satisfied with my haircut. I got a voucher for 10% off next time but I won’t be going back to use it...
had a great experience. such friendly staff and the nail lady was very professional. she gave me perfect nails and didn't charge extra for the simple pattern i asked for. so happy with my time there overall.
