Our staff were perfectly friendly, but ultimately there isn’t much positive to say about my visit. When my boyfriend asked for a volumizing treatment, they sold him a £150 keratin treatment which flattened his hair entirely and gave him a choppy and uneven cut. I asked for light brown highlights and a balayage and now my hair is literally blonde and I’ve had to book with another salon to get it fixed. My hair dye looks patchy and poorly applied. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Even though the staff were friendly, that doesn’t excuse the notch job they did on my hair.
Lady who did my nails seemed nice enough, again this was my second experience booking through Treatwell and the salon had. Problem with the system. For the price was good value for centre of town venue, was slightly uncomfortable whilst working on my nails but overall satisfied.
Turned up just before appointment time and waited a while to be seen at reception. No sooner had I sat down I was ushered back to the waiting area because a regular needed a nail fixing for her holiday which would be fine if I wasn’t using my lunch hour for my appointment and restricted to time - made me feel very uncomfortable as I couldn’t really say no. Was initially pleased with colours and the shine. However 3 days later it is starting to peel and lift. I’m now not back in Manchester until next week so looks like I’ll have to pay and have redone elsewhere.
