Lovely staff & amazing blow dry- I have curly afro hair, I didn't need to go over with straighteners for 3 days

staff were really nice and helpful, offered me a coffee when I arrived. I am the worse with gel nails and they havent chipped! they did a really good job and i am really happy with them.

I loved the experience and the staff were friendly enough my hair cut was perfect for what I wanted, the only disappointment I had was my appointment was originally booked for 11 but got changed to 11:45 but I didn’t get the notification for this as it came in an email so was left wondering why I was left for so long and then I was panicking regarding my parking ticket but this was a small thing compared to the rest of the experience
Ladies' Haircuts
I have been to this salon twice before and have had much better experiences, unfortunately. First off, I was waiting around 40 minutes for my appointment, despite getting there on time. This was not explained to me at all and I just felt ignored really. The man on reception did, however, offer me a chocolate while I was waiting, but still no explanation was given. I was also offered a drink when I first got there, but this wasn't given to me until I was offered again later on by someone else.
When I had my hair washed, I was left for around ten minutes with conditioner in my hair while they carried on with another person's hair and then when I was having my hair cut, I was left again for various other reasons. I felt the hairdresser's go off talking to other hairdressers way too much and I was worried they wouldn't be concentrating on my hair as much. It's like they just focus on each other rather than their client's.
The haircut itself is usually much better and so I felt because of the busy schedule of the hairdresser, my hair was just rushed and the blowdry wasn't as efficient as usual. I wasn't really asked what I wanted and they just assumed what I wanted from last time and actually got some of what I wanted wrong.
Overall, I think the salon was only partly customer-focused this time. The hairdresser is lovely, but was under a lot of pressure to get two people's hair done at the same time, which I find quite unprofessional (maybe this is normal, I don't know) but being left waiting was a bit annoying at times.
As this isn't the first time I've been left waiting at the start, I'm unsure whether I will return, especially considering my hair wasn't as lovely as the other times.
