So I booked my full head of highlights on here which was I think 57. I got there and told them I wanted to go more caramel then blonde so should I have a few more browns in there and was advised to have just a couple of blondes and go brown all over being the naive type agreed. Anyway hair was done I new it was a little dark at the time if leaving but knew it would lighten up after a couple of washes however it has been three weeks and I still look like a zebra. Anyway to add insult to injury I was then told a cut was not included but they would blow my hair, and that no one could do it even though there was only two customers and about 5 staff.anyway I thought ok that's not too bad for 57 I'll go somewhere else for it. Gets to the till and they charge me £105. Yes that's right an extra 50 quid for what? The same amount of dye they would have used if they did a full set of highlight? Less time to do an all over colour than a full head of highlight? So I have no idea what I paid for and only realised the price they charged today when I reviewed my bank statement. No I'm not rich or have money to burn I have just literally not had chance to check. Anyway I won't be going back to this city centre salon I will stick to a local salon with lower prices and where I won't get ripped off.
I've been here a couple of time over the last 6 weeks' the first time I was quite impressed and my colour was done exactly how I wanted it and Natalie the stylist was lovely,however the second time round I have to say I'm not impressed at all, I went in and ask for platinum blond hair and even showed him a picture of the white colour I wanted, and I'm exceptionally disappointed that it is nothing like the colour I asked for or showed to the guy who did my hair. I went in with rather light blonde hair and no roots, I came out with the exact same colour hair but now just look like I have brown roots, so I am now£80's down with hair that I am unhappy with and looks worse than it did when I went in. I decided to try and not get too upset about it and see how I felt about it once I was home,but it's been exactly a week since my colour was done and I am defiantly not happy with it. Was rather disappointed because instead of having nice white blonde hair for Christmas I now look like I haven't been to the Salon in 6 months.
I had a deal so it was great value for money. Craig cut my hair and was able to translate what I wanted (which to be honest I didn't even know), he was fantastic and I was really happy with the cut. I went in during a shopping trip with my mum and the staff were lovely making her a brew whilst she waited for me. The salon was nice - overall a great experience.
Great treatment and great staff. I was really pleased with the outcome of the Kerastraight treatment. I will be going back for my regular haircut and colour too!
