Purchased a Voya facial and eye treatment. Voya carries seaweed-based beauty products that felt gentle to the skin and has a unique, pleasant smell - very glad to have been introduced to such an interesting brand. But, the effect when it was used for the facial and eye treatment was only normal, just like after every normal wash of the skin. The massage applied to the face by the staff felt really great though. Will be going back to Appuru for more massage. As for Voya, I think I will buy some and just keep it for everyday use.

Got the full body sugar scrub. Scrub was massaged onto the skin and cleaned off by hot towel. I admire my masseuse as it is very labor intensive for them, hauling the large, wet towels and all. Paper panties were provided and you will be asked to indicate whether you like to have some parts of the body skipped (chest area, etc). Treatment was topped off with a special lotion. My skin felt soft and smooth for a week.

The first thing I noticed upon entering the venue was the lovely smell of organic skin care products. Inside Appuru it is exceptionally bright and clean but relaxing at the same time. The rooms are large and airy and have a great ambiance. I felt very comfortable with my therapist Katherine, she is very welcoming and sweet. Their sugaring is much more comfortable than standard waxing techniques. My skin is less irritated and has a more clean and bright look and feel. Thank you Appuru! I am so glad I found out about this salon and I will be coming back!
