Afternoon tea was brilliant. All the staff were friendly. Treatment was good, but it was definitely not 25mins (around 15-20). But overall I really enjoyed my day.
I bought this spa as a gift to my sister for her birthday. She really liked it!
The 25 min treatment was quick but really good and the staff was lovely as well.
The only complaint, will be that the swimming pool and jacuzzi are in the same area of the gym. So there were people doing exercises and it was a bit noisy.
All the rest was perfect!
I booked a package that Included a 25min treatment and afternoon tea as well as used of the spa facilities.
The afternoon tea was ok although I was put off by finding a chicken bone within my sandwich and there was only one of each small cake between two plus side we could change the tea for unlimited coffee. We went through to the spa receptionist was helpful and showed us round. I’m glad I changed for my friend to come with me instead of my partner as none of the facilities (steam or sauna) are poolside so would have not been able to access these together had that been the case. The pool was incredibly loud the whole time with swimming lessons and kids screaming, the lack of lounge chairs pool side was also an issue. My therapist was incredible however unfortunately I did not feel relaxed due to the loudness of people and their children walking/running up and down the corridor outside the treatment rooms. due to the cons of my experience I would not rebook this spa.
Package: Had a weekend treat with afternoon tea which included 2 x 25 min treatment from massage, facial, body scrub, nail polish.
Spa area: This is not the most luxurious spa. The jacuzzi and pool are offset from the sauna and steam room, so you are unable to free flow through the facilities. The plus - is that the sauna an steam room are single-sex so quite nice for a girly treat - not so great if you are with your partner.
The facilities are clean, there are no private changing areas (i.e. open changing area) which doesn't suit all, but ok for me.
Treatment: The treatment room although a little small was lovely and the treatment itself very good value for money and very relaxing. The staff were good and friendly.
Relaxation area: Again set away from the spa area - the relaxation area wasn't very plush - an unused dance studio with some bean bags and loungers - no mood lighting and a little (sad) if I was on my own, a few candles or mood lighting / some screens to make the area seem less sparse would go a long way.
The afternoon tea was lovely and the staff overall very polite. I would definitely go again as the package itself was great value for money.
There are stairs down to the spa and also within the area and to get to the relaxation room so not suitable IMO for those with mobility issues
