I had a lovely experience overall. The salon had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and wasn't intimidating at all. I also really appreciated that the staff took the time to offer recommendations based on what I wanted. The gel nails themselves were done well, but the nail art was just okay for me—perhaps it was more the design I chose than the execution. Since this was one of my first experiences with nail art, I'd like to try other salons as well so I have a better benchmark for comparison
