It was my first time doing perm waves in the UK. Have been told by many friends that western shops are not good at doing Chinese people's hair. I went to Amari today, and it was a very good experience. Barha and Sarah were both nice and patient to ask the style I like, and they did everything very carefully. My hair was burnt 4 years ago when I did a perm waves in China, so really worried. But this time, it was very nice and natural waves. I am very happy about it. It was a good prize as well, much reasonable than the China town ones. So, Chinese friends. please do come to this shop! Oh, by the way, they provide you nice coffee/tea with biscuit as well.
I have been few times in this salon before but I had the impression that standard was not the same in the last visit. hygiene also let me down, the towels that have been put around my neck stunk and were wet on 2 occasions .
My greys were not covered properly on the first visit so i had to come back to retouch the greys free of charge although a different colour was applied, i was not happy with the overall result.
