The lady didn’t make me feel confortable. When I told her I felt my tummy was a bit squashed with the tummy cushion, I felt it was more of an inconvenience for her than anything. She eventually ended up calling the manager to ask for her opinion and we did the massage on my side. The massage itself was great though. At the end of the massage she asked me to lay on my back which we are not supposed to do when we are 36 weeks pregnant so I did it for about 10 mins and then asked to change position
This would have been a really wonderful massage, had I not been 35 weeks pregnant. Even though I booked a pregnancy massage, half of it was spent laying on my back, which is not allowed beyond 22 weeks of pregnancy. This was quite painful and also created a sense of nausea/dizziness - all the pregnancy massages I have had lay women on their sides and prop them with pillows both ways, but even though the masseuse was lovely, there was no attention to avoiding laying on back.
