The lady who did my nails unfortunately seemed to rush through it. When I asked for a nude colour she gave me a brighter polish making my hands look even more odd. I waited quite a while as she was with another client, which delayed me further. When she said my nails were dry, they were all smudged and wiped by the time I got to my car! I had to visit a different salon the next day to get it re-done. Sadly wouldn't recommend to get nails done from here.
Been here twice for a brazilian wax now, and have been for other beauty treatments in the past. The first wax (booked through Treatwell)- great. Quick, easy, friendly staff, good value. I thought, yeah, brilliant, this will be my new waxing place. The second time I was a bit last minute so phoned them up and they said to come on over and they'll be able to fit me in. Staff friendly (as always), however I was introduced to a different woman (younger) who would be doing my wax. Although she was a lovely girl, my wax was terrible. I've had a fair few in the past (at least 30?) but nothing like this. Quite painful, a large proportion of one side was obviously not pulled out but ripped out as it regrew within a few days, despite asking for a triangle I was left with a very uneven strip (ended up paying for a hollywood wax somewhere else to take off the rest, I looked ridiculous), a lot of wax was left stuck in remaining hairs which was pretty hard to get out, and I ended up developing a couple of pretty painful ingrown hairs. Really disappointing, because the staff are so nice I couldn't bring myself to say anything! The only thing I can think of is that once I was escorted into the waxing room the woman seemed to think I was getting my legs waxed- so perhaps she just wasn't trained in brazilian waxing but thought she'd give it a go anyway because there wasn't anyone else around? Sorry guys!
