Most importantly, my hair was cut and finished well and skillfully. I was not offered a hot drink as other customers around me. Also, I always find it good practice if the hairdresser checks whether I am ok with the water temperature when my hair is being washed. I fortunately was happy with the hot water but being askedmakes a difference. I am not keen about constant small talk but a few friendly words from the hairdresser would have made me feel it was not a nuisance to cut my hair.
