This was my first spa experience and the bar has been set high! It is small but this makes it feel cosy and relaxing. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and therefore safe to relax in their hands. The massage was lovely, I have back pain and it was enough to relax my muscles without pain. The facial was excellent as well, doubled as a face massage so I left the treatment room glowing & on cloud 9. Planning next visit soon.

My wife and I had a great, tranquil experience relaxing in the spa at The Athenaeum. The atmosphere was relaxing and intimate, just what we needed after a few stressful weeks. The facilities were modern, well equipped and very clean, including the changing rooms. Our favourite was definitely the jacuzzi. Judite and Rebecca offered an excellent therapeutic massage, and Nadia made sure we were well taken care of. The extra touch with Prosecco also made everything even better and easier to let go o
