I have been there before.was best place to take my grumpy husband when he was tired and needed TLC. Now I need to find a new nice place. The scones were not cooked (row)
I had a spa day at the Athenaeum hotel with my daughter. From the minute we walked through the door, the staff were fantastic. We spent an hour in the spa area with plunge pool, sauna & steam room. It was perfect to help us forget the stress of every day life & get ready for our massage. The treatments were amazing - 2 hours incl a massage (just the right amount of pressure), a wrap and facial. The whole time we were in there, it was like being in a cocoon. I would highly recommend.
My Drift Away Massage was really and the pressure was just right for me as I like quite firm pressure, my masseuse kept checking in with me to make sure I was happy, everything you could possibly need was provided for would not hesitate to recommend, As a weekend visitor to London I found the Athenaeum Hotel & Spa perfectly situated and accessible to me and well priced, when I booked the receptionist was very helpful and informative as to what was available to me on my chosen dates and times
