It was a small but cosy spa place, was not too keen on the fact the steam room/sauna was in the gym area so not as relaxing as it could have been. The actual treatments are roughly about 1 and half hours so felt that the details on the deal was misleading. I was little upset because my manicure and pedicure was right around closing time and my nails hadn't dried so they got ruined when getting ready to leave. But the staff were really amazing and friendly so the day seemed really nice, and the relaxation room was lovely but overall it was not great value for money.
It was my first Spa experience with my wife - generally everything was very good and lovely. We enjoyed the treatments we had - however most of them did take less time than we have been told payed for 2h45min treatment and I'm not sure if we had 2h in total treatment - everything was just much more shorter although the treatments were really good and professional - I'm really happy with the service and staff - helpful and nice all the time through ! The only complain I can say was the noise of dumbbells smashing the floor ( David Lloyd Gym - just behind the wall Spa ) really noisy and unpleasant when you have a massage or facial. The staff did apologize but it was happening all the time and it was really noisy and annoying. I guess that's it - thank you very much Atlas Spa
was lovely for a taster 1st time spa experience for my daughter. was convenient enough as my daughter is a student at UH so was not too far to travel
We both had a lovely, relaxing day. The staff were friendly and the treatments great. I will definitely be back!
My friend and I booked this deal to spend a day together as we don't get to see each other much. The day before we booked, we were advised that our booking timing was changed due to staffing issues so my friend and I would not be able to have concurrent treatments allowing us to spend time together swimming etc, or have lunch. We stressed we atleast wanted lunch together! The staff are fab when you get there, really friendly and welcoming. That's where it ends really. Our package was £300 from £500, had we paid the top figure I'd have been really unhappy.
We were expecting a luxury spa with facilities to match. You will not find this here. The changing facilities are incredibly basic, no lovely smells or lighting or products for that matter. There was also other peoples hair in lockers, in the sink etc which gave it a grubby feel!
The relaxation lounge was quite nice, however, there were no healthy treats or fruit just tea and tap water. Don't even bother with lunch at the gym it was tasteless and proportionately tiny! Healthy food does'nt equal tasteless!
The treatments were nice, however the lady that did my facial was very heavy handed and I felt I'd been slapped around by the end of it.
If you go, don't expect luxury, so don't pay for the top packages!
