Great value, staff were excellent and the treatments were fantastic. Swimming pool was closed for refurbishment which we knew but we're given a nice Buck's Fizz and could still use the jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Nice relaxation room with refreshments and blankets. Really lovely day.
We were very impressed by the day. The staff were all friendly and professional and we couldn't fault our treatments. The lounge had herbal tea and magazines and was a perfect spot to rehydrate post massage. My only comment would be to have lunch in one of the many nearby restaurants rather than at David Lloyd. They didn't manage to get any part of our order correct!
Staff were very friendly, the day was very enjoyable and we were made to feel very relaxed and calm. I noticed that with the pedicure that I got a different treatment than my friend who was sat next to me, the staff member performing my pedicure forgot to exfoliate whilst my friend got a double dose of foot scrub before the lotion.
It's a small thing and it's something I could've mentioned at the time but didn't because I'm terribly British.
The ladies were so lovely and I would definitely go back for more treatments.
It looks grubby. Dirty even. The sofas need covering...the massage room was too small and airless.
The staff were nice from reception onwards. I wish they wouldn't speak in such a bored voice. Almost signing at you.the massages were excellent but we were shortchanged on time. Started nearly 15 mins late ans ended on time...
The staff were friendly, welcoming and very professional. They handled the impact of a surprise fire drill extremely well and tactfully. The facilities were clean and relaxing, and the treatments were great. The only down side was having to go through the café area to reach the pool, sauna and steam rooms, but once there the facilities were clean and good quality. I would certainly recommend Atlas at Stevenage.
