I was booked in for a Brazilian, half leg and underarm. The schedule I was sent suggested the treatments would last about 1hr 5min and I did not have to wait at all upon arrival but I was in and out in about 25 mins. I had booked here cause it seemed to have good reviews and was at least £20 cheaper than other places I'd been to in the past for the same treatments. The staff were friendly and the place was clean, but I suppose you get what you pay for. I had left it for 4 weeks to ensure it would be long enough to get the most out of my treatments. It was certainly quick! (but not very thorough) I came home and had to pluck out dozens of hairs left under my arms, small sections of my legs (and it all feels like light stubble) and bikini looked like they hadn't been touched with the wax at all (I will be going over them with a razor tonight!). There was certainly some struggle with my 'inner' bikini line, perhaps that was my fault and I had left it slightly too long but at one point it felt like my beautician was pinching clumps of hair between her fingers and yanking them out to get the wax off. Everything was done with soft wax, unlike the hard wax I've previously had for the more 'sensitive' areas, I now have a couple of bruises in those areas. Baby oil was applied before I even realised there were still hairs left over to ask her to go over places. I will admit I did not say anything at the time but it was so quick and the bikini particularly painful, I was keen to be on my way. Note to salon: next time take your time and check over areas, redoing and even plucking the odd left over hair goes a long way! It felt like my beautician was trying to win a race! Also invest in some hard wax
(possibly reusable wax), I've found hard wax for bikini lines really does make a world of difference.
