The festive package was a really good lift from the dark and damp December weather. The scrub had a lovely scent without being overpowering, and Nicole's style meant the application really was the start of the massage. For the actual massage it was a bit distracting that not all of the scrub was off my skin so I felt some bits being rubbed in with the oil. That said the actual massage was great and made a difference to the tension in my neck and shoulders despite only being 30 minutes.
The spa area in the hotel basement with the gym in the same area, so it's not a relaxed spa where I'd want to spend a day. But the treatment room was nice and everything was very clean so I'd happily return for other treatments.
I have visited this place before, so I knew the Rose Facial would be a lovely experience. I was not disappointed. It was a different therapist, but just as good as before. You also get a relaxing hand & arm massage during the face mask, and this is a lovely treat with the facial. Yes, you have to ask at the hotel reception for a key to get into the health club/spa, but once that's figured out, there's no problem. It's just a shame I can't find the same deal again on Wahanda. I would highly recommend the Rose Renewal Radiance facial.
I bought this for a friend as a present and we went together. The treatments (half hour facial, half hour massage were good although the massage was more like 20mins!). The deal was supposed to include use of spa facilities but as the sauna was switched off (and would take hours to heat up) there was only a steam room.
I would recommend aurora spa to all, I visited this spa for the first time and I was very impressed. Its definitely worth every penny. after the treatment you will feel real difference and the face will be smooth and so soft. I am definitely visiting the spa again for facial. i was able to use gym, sauna and steam before the facial and i could spend the whole day in the spa.
One of the best facial experience I have had in London. The spa is located within a hotel and the only point for improvement is that there's no clear sign of the spa and there isn't a spa reception, which left me looking around to find my therapist up and down the stairs as I was 10 minutes early for the appointment. Other than that, the facial was perfect and the therapist was very professional. I really enjoyed the treatment!!!
