The staff were very friendly on my arrival, offered me a drink which I declined. I was then led to the treatment room which is at the back of the main room. It is essentially and understands cupboard. A big one, don't get me wrong, but there is only a net curtain and a frosted slide glass door separating you from the main area which means you can hear whenever the phone rings, you can hear anyone who walks in the shop.I assume the sound of a hairdryer is not particularly relaxing to listen to. Also being under the stairs means anytime anyone walks up or down it sounds like the floor is going to cave in.
The treatment itself was very lovely, and I was very relaxed until the phone rang, or someone walked on in or upstairs, those were kinda hard to ignore. So unfortunately for me the facilities just weren't great. Also I happened to be the only customer there at that time, when it is busy I'm sure it's really quite loud.
I only paid £31 as they had a promotion on so for me it was definitely worth the money, little flaws and all. However if I paid the full price of around £60 I would have been disappointed.
Bing was great, I was late and she was still very accommodating and took the time to understand my needs.
I came in for a hair cut and she was great, quick because she knew exactly what she was doing. Cute little boutique hairdressers and wonderful service.
I would definitely recommend.
I had a deep tissue massage yesterday with Jurate and it was wonderful. I had been carrying a lot of tension in my shoulders and the treatment was tailored to my specific needs. I felt really calm and relaxed afterwards. The environment was pleasant and the staff friendly. I will definately be going back to Aurrora for another massage.
