The spa is ok. It's typical for a London hotel. Pretty basic but still enough facilities to get the spa experience. The therapists seemed nice, they weren't as welcoming and attentive as I am used to but I guess there isn't an expectation of excellence encouraged, which is a shame as the spa is in Chelsea! There was no relaxing music playing in the treatment room and the towels were too short to cover my feet so I had to ask for more. Products didn't smell that nice. Overall an OK experience.
The Spa looked lovely though the whole experience would have been much better if there were specific times for kids to be permitted to the spa area. There were kids in the pool which is totally okay but when I was having my massage, I could clearly hear them which was distracting & there was no soothing music to disperse the sound of the kids playing which might have helped. That said, Zara was a delight & I had the best massage.
It was easy to book and there is a large choice of treatments for face, body and nails. I did a 45 minute aromatherapy massage, just to treat myself, and it was perfect. Evie was professional and attentive and the room was quiet, comfortable and sweet-smelling! I would definitely go back there when I'm next in London.
