I booked this salon and got a call from the owner/director within mins to rearrange the time as there was a technical glitch. She seemed nice and everything was rearranged. However, I arrived 15mins early at the salon and it was locked! Then a lovely young lady opened the door and looked surprised to see me. There was no record of the booking and no sign of the director. After ringing her and apologising she started to cut my hair. I thought she was a stylist but after chatting to her I realised she was an apprentice!!! Suffice it to say, my hair is lopsided and she charged me extra as it says on their site that it £10 for long thick hair!!! Not impressed!!
Had a lovely haircut at Avani and the owner is wonderfully friendly; really lovely staff as well. They have another salon in Notting Hill but this was closer to me. Great haircut, put layers in my very thick hair so feels alot better! Probably should put on Wahanda that the price may be a fiver or so more depending on your hair type, if long or very thick as I didn't visit the company website before going, just booked on Wahanda and this wasn't mentioned in the terms and conditions on Wahanda but hairdresser said it was on the company website. Brill hair salon though overall!

Avani is absolutely fab! I had a cut and blowdry before attending a wedding and I was complimented many times on my hair! The hairdresser was quick and got me ready on time. She also offered great advice on how to maintain my hair and look after it.
I would definitely recommend Avani Hair and Beauty; fantastic service from a lady who made me feel completely at ease and I really enjoyed my blow dry. Loved the end result and would definitely go back.
Lovely, lovely lady! There was a bit of a mix-up over appointment time but she bent over backwards to still fit me in, so accommodating and friendly!
