I've never had a wax before and got a back, shoulder and neck wax after some subtle judging from my girlfriend (for more than a year). I was dreading it.
However, the experience was great! I only felt a twinge of pain twice during the treatment, and mostly it felt no worse than pulling a plaster or bandage tape off after a few days.
Combine that with the fact that Marly came to my flat, and was significantly cheaper than anyone else in the area (£25 vs up to £60) even though she used hot wax and not strips, made this a thoroughly good experience. I'll definitely be using her again!

Marlene was really good! She was bang on time, waxing was done really quickly and less painful than normal. Would recommend - I will be booking with her again :)
I thought Marlene was brilliant! She was very flexible with timings and managed to fit me in before my holiday and travel to my home which was outside the area she normally covers. Marlene was very friendly, chatty and lovely to be around. The treatments were excellent! The eyebrow wax was pain free and looked great afterwards. The Shellac manicure and pedicure was done to a very high standard and the results were great (still in tact after two weeks). I will definitely be booking more treatments with Marlene in the future!

Marly was brilliant, I didn't know what to expect having a wax at home but it was very comfortable and Marly makes you feel very at ease - I definitely recommend her!
