The hotel and spa are closing in a day or so so things were not in great shape.The therapist worked hard but seemed to only be able to massage with her arms and elbows which is not ideal for my back. I have been before and the service level fell well below what I have had in the past. Bad luck for me as no way to make it up as I think Bagkione is leaving London.

The treatment was incredible thanks to the skilled therapist Sadly the “spa” is quite appalling for a 5* hotel It consists of a tiny changing room/bathroom with a steam room and a relaxation area where I actually couldn’t relax after the treatment because “the spa had to close” (I finished my treatment at 5pm, not 10pm) If they’re charging 5* hotel prices they should have 5* hotel facilities which is definitely not the case The exceptional massage saved the day, but the hotel was a let down
