Surprisingly relaxed atmosphere. Great couples massage.

My partner and I chose Balance Massage & Wellness based on the aesthetics in the pictures and the services they provide and booked a 1H massage and scrub package online. Upon arriving however, the therapists didn't know what sort of massage we had booked and didn't know we were expecting a scrub- despite it being clearly detailed in the service we paid for online. Although they kindly sorted the misunderstanding out, the radio playing loudly in the waiting area was the second thing to disappoint us.. needless to say advertisements for bowel movement medicine and traffic updates weren't the soothing playlist we had hoped for in preparation for a massage. (During the actual massage they played acoustic covers of pop songs... also not the most relaxing choice in my opinion.) I personally had asked for "moderate" pressure in my massage, but my masseuse was almost uncomfortably firm at times and the scrub seemed rushed and harsh. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage and all in all the place was not bad, unfortunately just not great either. 65£ a person per hour (and a double booking) is worth a bigger effort on behalf of the venue in my opinion.

Overall a good deep tissue treatment. My Therapist Andrea was great and it was not busy on the easter weekend. The ambience would have been better with relaxing music and a warm room. I did feel a little cold through the treatment but the massage itself was solid.

it was easy to find the venue . the venue was clean and roberta was amazing . hr massage treatment was firm as requested and she was really friendly . the only think i didn't like it that there was no receptionist when i walked in so i wasn't sure if anyone was in
