Apart from being a very small space downstairs (below a hairdresser) the venue was ok but it felt a little crowded, the room dark and tiny and very hot. The staff was not super friendly, e.g. speaking amongst themselves for about 5 minutes when I arrived and not knowing what to do with me, as they couldn't find my apt. I found this a little odd, but then suddenly they said no, all was ok. The massage started 10 mins after that. The 60 min massage was ok-good but the therapist focused on my legs for most of the time even though I had asked her to focus on my shoulder, neck and upper back region when we discussed my needs prior to the treatment (she had asked me!). Also the mud was only applied once instead of twice as promised. So in a nutshell, the therapist varied the treatment according to what SHE wanted to do, not the customer. So obviously I won't be back.
Maybe it was because I went as soon as I got the voucher but I booked in for the lava shells only to be told they hadnt arrived yet! When I got there the salon was shut, I had to call and waited for 5 mins before someone came to open the salon. Went down stairs and the area is quite sparse. Had a basic aromatherapy massage but couldnt smell any particular oils and they use a lot of oil. I had to have a shower before I left as I was covered in oil! She didnt know how to use the shower so it was freezing. Not really the relaxing experience I was expecting and I'm not sure how it could be charged normally at £110??

The salon was really run down and wasn't a very nice place to relax. The therapist was nice, but it definitely wasn't the relaxing after work experience I'd hoped for.

The venue itself is essentiall a couple of very small rooms under a hair salon, but the massage itself was fantastic and the therapists were friendly, informed, and very good.
whilst the venue is not perfect, the level of the care taken and skills of the therapist more than makes up for this. The location is central and relatively easy to find, underneath a hairdresser salon. I have had a lot of massages, but never one executed with such care and skill, and most importantly tailored to my specific ailments. The therapist, Alessandra, was the most skilled therapist that I have ever come across. The deal was incredible value and I will definitely be visiting again. I cannot recommend the most important thing, the massage and the service more highly enough. You msut visit to see the level of skill yourself - you will feel amazing afterwards!
